SUPER Chooses NOVUS Media as Partner to Drive Awareness of Savings Ecosystem Through HyberLocal Approach

NOVUS, the independent media planning and buying agency, announced today that they were selected as media partner for Super, the technology company at the intersection of fintech and commerce. NOVUS will promote Super, and its three product ecosystem of savings: SuperCash (a debt-protecting cashback card created for the historically underserved), SuperTravel and SuperShop. NOVUS will support through locally-targeted media planning and buying.

Rob is a 30+ year veteran of the agency world, serving as President and Chief Marketing Officer at NOVUS.
A veteran of Starcom, he’s led such iconic brands as McDonald’s, Kellogg, Disney Themeparks, Airbnb, and Allstate — and he won Gold Lions and Effies for media effectiveness. Rob also became a local/ regional media expert planning and buying local media for P&G, and later highly localized media for Anthem Blue Cross and Airbnb.
Now with NOVUS, he’s evolved the agency with new service models, tools, and approaches and elevated the agency to win Silver for Media Agency of the Year in Ad Age’s independent media awards.

Chicago-based Novus Next transformed from an agency that specialized in newspaper freestanding inserts to a multimedia agency in 2021, working with brands including Lidl grocery, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree.
Novus started 35 years ago in a Minnesota garage focusing on newspaper direct response and has since used hyper-local capabilities and multimedia skills to create new campaigns for local brands. The agency, which calls itself “effective, not slick,” pioneered the use of “localytics,” which focus on “analyzing the geographically based impact of media on business results,” according to Novus.
